Bill, a partner at Trinity since 2000, brings a successful track record as an entrepreneur, with particular depth in using technology and business strategy to create value.
Bill was a founder and CEO of Diamond Head Software, a leading supplier of imaging software products, from 1993 to February 2000, when the Dallas company was purchased by Hummingbird Ltd., a NASDAQ listed firm.
Prior to that, Bill was president of Condotech, Inc. of Honolulu. During his 10 years there, that company expanded nearly ten-fold and was one of the largest condominium estate management firms in the country when it was purchased by Japanese partners in 1992.
Bill also served as a strategic consultant for three years at the Strategic Planning Institute in Cambridge, MA, a strategic consultant. SPI specialized in strategy-based resource allocation among portfolio holdings for large, diversified corporations, building a database for conducting research on the profit impact of strategic position. Clients included General Electric, Westinghouse, John Deere, and other global business leaders.
Bill earned a BA, cum laude, from Harvard College in 1973, and an MBA from Harvard University's Graduate School of Business in 1978, with first year honors. He resides in Dallas with his wife of over 30 years, Laura. They have two daughters and one son, spread between New York, Atlanta, and Beijing.
